EV Applications

Bourns provides a broad range of reliable products ideal for electric vehicle (EV) applications. The portfolio features hybrid GMOV components with engineered MOV-GDT pairings, ChipGuard® MLC automotive ESD protectors with low capacitance and a fast response time, BMS signal transformers with AEC-Q200 compliance, and SMF4L-Q transient voltage suppressor diodes that are AEC-Q101 compliant. Additional Bourns components for EV applications include MF-USMF and MF-NSMF Multifuse® PTC resettable fuses with AEC-Q200 compliance as well as a wide selection of inductors and resistors. SRN Automotive Semi-Shielded Power Inductors

Bourns SRN Automotive Semi-Shielded Power Inductors are AEC-Q200 qualified and designed for automotive applications. These wire-wound inductors provide effective magnetic shielding with lower radiation than non-shielded inductors and offer reduced cost to comparably-sized conventional ferrite shield inductors. The SRN components feature a 470nH to 470µH inductance range with a 5.5mΩ to 10.5Ω maximum DC resistance range while operating from -55°C to +125°C.
