XAL / XFL Power Inductors

Coilcraft XAL / XFL Power Inductors offer larger terminations for lower DCR and stronger solder joint. Other features include soft saturation characteristics, up to 125°C ambient operating temperature, and low DCR per mm³. These inductors deliver the highest performance in the smallest possible space using wirewound construction. They are housed in a rugged, magnetic shielding body. Coilcraft XAL / XFL Power Inductors come in a wide range of footprints and heights to fit any application.

AEC-Q200 Grade 1 Power Inductors

Coilcraft AEC-Q200 Grade 1 Power Inductors Ideal for a variety of automotive applications and temperature environments as low as -40°C and up to +125°C. Coilcraft AEC-Q200 Grade 1 Power Inductors also feature low DCR, magnetic shielding, and excellent current handling.

AEC-Q200 Qualified Products

Coilcraft offers an expansive array of AEC-Q200 products designed to withstand extreme temperatures. These products meet the strict quality standards of AEC-Q200 requirements and are viable for use in harsh automotive environments. Coilcraft offers a wide range of off-the-shelf products and custom engineered solutions to meet the automotive industry's need for high reliability, high volume magnetics.

Power Magnetics

Coilcraft is a global supplier of power magnetics, including power inductors, current sensors, and planar transformers designed for the highest efficiency performance. The wirewound inductors feature a ferrite or powdered iron core and come in a wide range of shapes and sizes. For an efficient power supply, key attributes of a power inductor are the inductance, the current, and the DC resistance (DCR).

XAL40xx High-Temperature Inductors

Coilcraft XAL40xx High-Temperature Inductors include the XAL4020, XAL4040, and XAL4040 series of high-performance molded power inductors. These devices are mechanically rugged and magnetically shielded for use in high-density power converter circuits. The series features high current ratings and is ideally suited for high switching frequencies with low AC losses. Coilcraft XAL40xx High-Temperature Inductors minimize audible buzzing through a composite construction. The inductors are AEC-Q200 Grade 1 compliant (-40°C to +125°C) with a +165°C maximum part temperature. A sample kit is available.

Power Solutions from Texas Instruments & Coilcraft

Power Solutions from Texas Instruments and Coilcraft combine to provide the high efficiency and extremely small footprint of the TI TPS63025/6274x series with the highest current ratings (XAL) and lowest DCR per size of the Coilcraft inductors featured below. These solutions are ideal for ultra-low power applications such as metering, IoT, medical, and industrial portables.

Power Solutions for Industrial Communication

Texas Instruments and Coilcraft Power Solutions for industrial communication provide a combination that offers high efficiency and low losses in a compact design. The Texas Instruments TPS63070 is a high-efficiency, low-quiescent current buck-boost converter. The Coilcraft inductors provide the ability to minimize the impact of ambient temperature changes on key parameters. Coilcraft provides the right inductors in order to maximize the benefits of the TI converter solution.
