Shielded Power Inductors

Eaton Shielded Power Inductors are high-power-density and high-efficiency inductors designed for a wide range of applications. These power inductors provide mechanically secure mounting and rugged construction for high-shock and vibration environments. The shielded power inductors are Halogen-free, lead-free, and comply with RoHS. These power inductors are AEC-Q200 qualified and Moisture Sensitivity Level 1 (MSL 1). Typical applications include body electronics, portable electronics, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), infotainment and cluster electronics, chassis and safety electronics, High-Definition Televisions (HDTV), and LED/LCD backlighting.

DRA Shielded Inductors

Eaton DRA Shielded Inductors include the DRA, DRAP, and DRAQ series. The DRA and DRAP magnetically shielded inductors offer low EMI and can be configured in many inductor topologies with good thermal dissipation characteristics and superior mechanical strength. The DRAQ series features a unique dual/coupled winding construction offering single (series) or dual (parallel) inductor modes and enhanced shock and vibration performance, which is optimized for best peak current operation. All three types of these Eaton shielded inductors are AEC-Q200 compliant to perform at high operating temperatures of up to +165°C.

5G Applications

Eaton Electronics offers an expansive portfolio of high-reliability components needed to drive 5G forward. Because 5G telecommunication units are typically placed in rugged environments, continuous uptime requirements for their operation and the reliability of the internal electronics are of great importance. A variety of components, often passives, can be readily added in key locations within 5G communications systems to enhance reliability and mitigate subcircuits susceptible to electrostatic discharge (ESD), electromagnetic interference (EMI), and electromagnetic pulse (EMP). DRA Automotive Inductors

Eaton Electronics DRA Automotive Inductors are shielded inductors featuring high power density, high efficiency, and a storage/operating temperature range of -40°C to +165°C. These inductors provide mechanical secure mounting and offer up to 56A with an inductance range from 0.28µH to 1000µH in five sizes. Eaton Electronics DRA Automotive Inductors are ideal for high shock and vibration environments such as automotive under-the-hood / interior / exterior environments, as well as telematics, noise filtering, filter chokes, and converters (DC-DC, buck, boost, forward, resonant).
