Commercial & Tactical UAV Systems

Littelfuse Commercial and Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Systems offer solutions for Li-Ion battery protection, battery chargers, and power distribution. These systems provide fuses for input protection/overcurrent protection, MOSFETs for semiconductor switching, and TVS diodes for DC output transient/surge protection. The commercial and tactical UAV systems offer battery protection >60V and provide main-pack fault isolation, battery disconnect/power path control (pre-charge support), and branch circuit overcurrent protection. Typical applications include Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), military, border surveillance, agriculture, delivery/logistics, inspection, and public safety.

Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations. 

Fuel-Powered/Hybrid Military UAV Systems

These systems support power conversion and a DC bus with a rectifier diode that converts AC line voltage to DC. The fuel-powered/hybrid military Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems provide TVS diodes, fuses, and MOSFETs for semiconductor switches, surge protection, and rectification. TPSMB-L Automotive TVS Diodes

Littelfuse TPSMB-L Automotive TVS Diodes are low-clamping voltage and unidirectional surface mount diodes with 600W peak pulse power dissipation capability at 10/1000μs waveform. These diodes feature low incremental surge resistance, 1μA maximum reverse leakage current, and less than 1ns fast response time from 0V to VBR minimum. The TPSMB-L diodes are RoHS-compliant and are available in a DO-214AA (SMB) package. These diodes are ideal for the protection of the Analog Front-End chip (AFE/BMIC) of the electric vehicle Battery Management System (BMS) from overvoltage events.
