32-Bit SAM Microcontrollers

These peripherals include the enhanced Peripheral Touch Controller (PTC), low-power sleepwalking peripherals, the efficient Event System, and a rich set of high-performance analog features.

32-Bit SAM L Microcontrollers

Microchip Technology 32-Bit SAM L Microcontrollers are ultra-low-power MCUs based on an Arm® Cortex®-M23 or Cortex-M0+ core. The SAM L MCUs feature innovative picoPower® technology, delivering power consumption as low as 25µA/MHz in active mode, under 100nA in sleep mode, and fast wake-up times of 1.2µS. In addition to ultra-low-power capabilities, these devices feature an enhanced Peripheral Touch Controller (PTC), robust security, Arm TrustZone® technology, Advanced Encryption, and Standard (AES) encryption. These devices are ideal for battery-powered IoT and wearables.

32-bit Microcontrollers

Microchip Technology 32-bit Microcontrollers (MCUs) provide the performance and functional capabilities to meet design needs across various applications. The broad 32-bit portfolio enables easy design scaling to meet market requirements. With a rich ecosystem of development tools, integrated development environments, and third-party partners, Microchip 32-bit microcontrollers accelerate a vast array of embedded designs ranging from secured Internet of Things (IoT) applications to general-purpose embedded control. 

SAM L10/L11 ARM® Cortex®-M23 MCUs

Microchip Technology SAM L10/L11 ARM® Cortex®-M23 MCUs are ultra-low power, 32-bit MCUs with TrustZone, crypto, and enhanced positive temperature coefficient (PTC). The SAM L10/L11 MCUs come with 32MHz ARM® Cortex®-M23 core with single-cycle hardware multiplier, hardware divider, Nested Vector Interrupt Controller (NVIC), and Memory Protection Unit (MPU). These MCUs feature power-on-reset, programmable brown-out detection, 8-channel DMAC, and 8-channel event system for inter-peripheral core-independent operation. The SAM L10/L11 MCUs come in a different range of flash memory (64kB, 32kB, and 16kB) and SRAM (16kB, 8kB, and 4kB). These MCUs come with flexible clock distribution optimised for low power and a 32.768kHz crystal oscillator. The SAML10/L11 MCUs offer active, idle, standby with partial or full SRAM retention, and off sleep modes.
