TOPSwitch®JX Integrated Off-Line Switchers

The Power Integrations TOPSwitch®-JX family of integrated off-line switchers features EcoSmart® energy efficient technology for highly efficient power supplies. TOP264 - TOP271 devices cost effectively incorporate a 725 V power MOSFET, high voltage switched current source, multi-mode PWM control, oscillator, fault protection, and other control circuitry onto a monolithic device. TOPSwitch-JX integrated off-line switchers are energy efficient over the entire load range and provide no-load consumption below 100 mW at 265 VAC as well as up to 750 mW standby output power for 1 W input at 230 VAC. These Power Integrations devices allow for high design flexibility, lowering system cost. The extensive protection features of the TOPSwitch-JX switcher family includes auto-restart that limits power delivery to <3% during overload faults.
