Renesas Electronics RZ/V2N Mid-Range Embedded AI Microprocessors (MPUs) are designed to deliver powerful Artificial Intelligence (AI) performance with impressive efficiency, making them ideal for applications requiring advanced embedded processing capabilities. At the core of the RZ/V2N lies the DRP-AI3 accelerator, offering a remarkable 10TOPS/W of efficiency, with 4TOPS for dense workloads and 15TOPS for sparse tasks. The MPU features a quad-core Cortex-A55 running at 1.8GHz and a single Cortex-M33 at 200MHz for low-power management. With two 4-lane MIPI-CSI2 camera inputs and an optional ISP, the RZ/V2N is equipped for high-quality image and video processing, while the hardware support for H.264/265 codecs ensures efficient video encoding.
