STMicroelectronics ECMF Common-Mode Filter ICs offer the industry's first silicon common-mode filters combined with high-efficiency ESD protection needed by high-speed data lines. This enables manufacturers to reduce part counts and simplify the design of reliable, high-speed data circuits commonly used in smartphones, tablets, and mobile computers as well as wired connections such as USB2.0 and HDMI. This series offers ultra-compact form factors and covers high-speed serial interface standards including USB, MIPI, MDDI, or HDMI. The ECMF devices are designed to improve the noise immunity of applications such as mobile phones, notebooks or tablets, and to protect them against destructive ESD air and contact discharges.

This filter suppresses noise on busses like HDMI 2.1, HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and Gen 2, Ethernet, MIPI, and DisplayPort interfaces. The ECMF4-2450A60N10 common mode filter offers 6.4GHz differential bandwidth and it can protect and filter 2 differential lanes. This filter offers low PCB space consumption and is housed in a µQFN-10L package. The STMicroelectronics ECMF4-2450A60N10 Common Mode Filter has applications in notebook, laptop, and portable devices.
