Texas Instruments CC8520 2.4 GHz RF System on Chip (SoC) is the first device in the TI family of PurePath™ Wireless audio products. This new TI audio transceiver features a 2.4GHz SoC that transmits uncompressed CD-quality wireless audio over a rock-solid RF link with no unwanted noise or dropouts. The CC8520 is a complete integrated solution optimized for wireless transmission of high-quality digital audio. The Texas Instruments CC8520 includes a robust built-in wireless audio transmission protocol and can control selected external audio devices. The TI CC8520 SoC operates autonomously and can be used with our without an external microcontroller.
