SN74AC245/SN74AC245-Q1 Octal Bus Transceivers

Texas Instruments SN74AC245/SN74AC245-Q1 Octal Bus Transceivers are designed for asynchronous two-way communication between data buses. The implementation of a control function minimizes external timing requirements. The devices allow data transmission from the A bus to the B bus or from the B bus to the A bus, depending on the logic level at the direction-control (DIR) input. The output-enable (OE) input can be used to disable the device so that the buses are effectively isolated. The Texas Instruments SN74AC245-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications. The SN74AC245-EP devices have gold bond wires, a temperature range of -55 to +105°C, and an SnPb lead finish.
