With increasing safety regulations such as Good Distribution Policies (GDP), FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), EU Commission (EN12830) and World Health Organization (WHO), cold chain management is being required in more and more applications. TMP112/TMP112D-Q1 Digital Temperature Sensors

Texas Instruments TMP112/TMP112-Q1/TMP112D-Q1 Digital Temperature Sensor is a digital temperature sensor that is ideal for NTC/PTC thermistor replacement, where high accuracy is required. The device offers an accuracy of ±0.5°C without requiring calibration or external component signal conditioning. IC temperature sensors are highly linear and do not require complex calculations or lookup tables to derive the temperature. The TMP112D-Q1 and TMP112-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications. The calibrating for improved accuracy feature allows users to calibrate for accuracy as good as ±0.17°C. The on-chip 12-bit ADC offers resolutions down to 0.0625°C.
