Littelfuse Off-Board Charger Sub-Unit Power Converters are required for DC charging stations capable of charging to 80% SOC in under 30 minutes. These fast-charging applications require modular power converters, which can be paralleled to cater to different power levels, thereby enabling fast charging. The most critical parameters are energy density and system efficiency. A sub-unit power converter in a DC charging station consists of an AC/DC power stage and DC/DC power stage integrated into the charging station.

Applications include outdoor LED lighting, CATV networks, power supplies, and inverters. Littelfuse P-0FNL components feature a 3kA 8/20 surge rating. Littelfuse P-0FNL 3kA SIDACtor thyristors exhibit a low offshoot voltage and low on-state voltage with a fast response time. The P-0FNL series is automotive grade AEC-Q101 qualified, RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free.

Littelfuse SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors are thyristor devices used to protect sensitive circuits from electrical disturbances caused by lightning-induced surges, inductive-coupled spikes, and AC power fault conditions. The unique structure and characteristics of the thyristor are used to create an overvoltage protection device with precise and repeatable turn-on characteristics with low voltage overshoot and high surge current capabilities. SIDACtor components are solid state crowbar devices with a patented ion implant technology that ensures effective protection within nanoseconds. Littelfuse SIDACtor Protection Thyristors include a wide range of semiconductor protection thyristor over-voltage transient suppression devices designed to serve requirements of telecom and data networking equipment applications.

High Exposure Surge SIDACtor Protection Thyristors

Littelfuse High Exposure Surge SIDACtor Protection Thyristors are very robust solid-state protection devices intended for use in high-exposure environments. The family includes products specifically designed for primary protection, such as cell and TO-220 devices. The High Surge Current components also feature devices capable of meeting 5kA 8/20µs for use in extreme conditions.
