These Hall sensors are classified into Hall elements, Hall effect ICs, or linear Hall effect ICs according to the output. The Hall ICs are ideally used in home appliances, industrial equipment, and in-vehicle applications.

Asahi Kasei Microdevices Hall Element ICs are magnetic sensor that detects magnetic field and outputs an analog signal proportional to intensity. Typical applications include home appliances (DCBL motor control) and air conditioners (fan motor control).
