Mini TOPLED® LEDs

ams OSRAM Mini TOPLED® LEDs have been tailored to the demands of public and private passenger transport for high brightness and high quality. These LEDs combine pleasant white light with a much longer lifetime of up to 50,000 hours. OSRAM Mini TOPLED® LEDs are among the most economical on the market, consuming only 0.1W. From an operating current of 20mA, the Mini Topled achieves a typical luminous intensity of 1700mcd at a color temperature of 4000K, and 1900mcd at 6500K. Luminous intensity in candela corresponds to luminous flux in lumen emitted by a light source in a particular solid angle.

SYNIOS P2720 Series Infrared Emitters

ams OSRAM SYNIOS P2720 Series Infrared Emitting Diodes (IREDs) bring together the advantages of the high-power IR illumination LED technology in an extremely compact Synios P2720 package. These IREDs are available in the two well-known wavelengths, 850nm and 940nm (centroid wavelength). The 850nm version is more common due to the much higher sensitivity of cameras at shorter wavelengths. The 940nm version helps to reduce the red glow at the cost of lower camera sensitivity. These IREDs provide compact sensing and are ideal for 2D facial recognition in daylight conditions if the camera chip has an 850nm blocking filter. The stray light of the sun does not interfere with 940nm LED illumination, and the overall sensitivity increases in this case.
