38X02 Series IDC Link Connectors

3M 3810X and 3820X Series leverages 3M's IDC technology and are designed to offer a safe and reliable electrical connection while enabling cable extensions as well as T-Tab termination. The 3M 3810X and 3820X Series features 2- and 4-position wire- and board-mount IDC link connectors and a hermaphroditic four-point contact mating structure that reduces the number of different components required for wiring. Designed to terminate easily in the field using a standard pair of pliers, the IDC link connectors do not require any special tooling or pretreatment of cables. 3M 3810X and 3820X Series can accept wire diameters from 1.1mm to 2.54mm and accommodate discrete or flat ribbon cable with conductor sizes between 18 and 22AWG. Latches and polarization ensure proper mating of the connectors.
