DLPA300 DMD Micromirror Driver

Texas Instruments DLPA300 DMD Micromirror Driver generates the VOFFSET and VBIAS voltages. It also switches VOFFSET, VBIAS, and an externally generated VRESET to create the micromirror clocking pulses for the 9um pixel, high-efficiency DMDs, including the DLP780NE, DLP780TE, and DLP800RE DMDs. The timing of this waveform is controlled by the display controller, either DLPC430 or DLPC4420. The DLPA300 micromirror driver is part of the TI DLP® Products DLP780NE, DLP780TE, and DLP800RE chipsets.

DLP® Devices

Texas Instruments DLP® technology enables innovative optical solutions that disrupt existing end equipment and create new markets. The DLP chip, or Digital Micromirror Device (DMD), is an array of micromirrors that can be used for high-speed, efficient, and reliable spatial light modulation. Not only a leader in consumer projection, but DLP is also redefining industrial, medical, telecom, security, and many other applications. This technology helps customers reduce design cycles and deliver disruptive products.
