Automotive-Rated HP TVS Diodes

Eaton Automotive-Rated High Power Transient Voltage Suppression (HP TVS) Diodes provide overvoltage protection for electronic equipment with fast response times, low clamping voltage, and high peak current capability. These highly reliable TVS diodes are AEC-Q101 qualified and come in both surface-mount and radial/through-hole footprints. The modules utilize silicon avalanche technology for excellent protection against damaging transient surges, from electrostatic discharge (ESD) to induced lightning. Eaton automotive-rated HP TVS diodes include product families that meet up to ISO 16750-2 5a and 5b standards. These diodes are ideal for protecting critical circuits.

0603ESDA2 PolySurg™ ESD Suppressor

Eaton Electronics 0603ESDA2-TR2 PolySurg™ ESD Suppressor is designed to provide ESD protection for high frequency, low voltage applications. The device features a 0603 footprint, very low leakage current, ultra-low capacitance (0.15pF max), and a fast response time, and exceeds testing IEC 61000-4-2 standards. The ultra-low (0.15pF maximum) capacitance enables the 0603ESDA2-TR2 ESD Suppressor to protect valuable high-speed data circuits from ESD damage without distorting data signals. The 0603ESDA2-TR2 PolySurg ESD Suppressor is ideal for computers and peripherals, Blu-Ray/DVD players, satellite and HD Radio, PDAs, digital camcorders, and set top boxes. 

Battery Management Systems

Eaton provides a wide portfolio of products for Battery Management Systems (BMS), including terminal blocks, fuses, supercapacitors, chokes, inductors, and more. Battery Management Systems monitor individual cells, system voltage, current, and temperature. When monitoring individual cells, the BMS balances voltages and regulates the current flow, and if the upper or lower voltage, current, or temperature limit is exceeded, the BMS temporarily disconnects the load or source. Eaton Battery Management Systems estimate the State of Health (SoH), State of Charge (SoC), State of Energy (SoE), and State of Power (SoP) in batteries.
