FRDMSTBANBP8XD Freedom Shield Evaluation Board

NXP Semiconductors FRDMSTBANBP8XD Freedom Shield Evaluation Board features a fully integrated battery pressure monitoring sensor (BPMS). The NBP8-9x BPMS offers a small footprint in a 4mm x 4mm package, low power consumption, PWM, SPI, ready/interrupt, and power supply enable. The NBP8-9x BPMS integrates an 8-bit central processing unit (CPU) and NXP-provided firmware to create the ready-to-use pressure sensor. Furthermore, the NXP NBP8-9x Battery Pressure Monitor Sensors employ a built-in MCU and enable sensing of the pressure change, making a configuration-based decision, and acting on this decision. The device does this while providing this information to the host system.
