The NXP Semiconductors FRDMGD3162RPEVM comes with the Freedom KL25Z microcontroller hardware, enabling communication with the GD3162 gate drive devices via Flex GUI software on a PC. This communication can occur in either a daisy chain or a standalone configuration.
