ST25R50x Automotive NFC Readers

STMicroelectronics ST25R50x Automotive NFC Readers feature a small form factor and are designed for digital car keys and in-car wireless charging. These readers meet the Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) and Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) requirements for device pairing, engine start, and wireless charging NFC card protection. ST25R50x readers combine 2W peak output power and high receiver sensitivity, enabling up to 70% greater interaction range than other readers. Features include AEC-Q100 and NFC Forum CR13 compliance. The ST25R500 series offers higher continuous output power and is suitable for applications like key fob charging, while the ST25R501 is used in NFC card protection on center-console Qi chargers, phone pairing, and data transfer. STMicroelectronics ST25R50x Automotive NFC Readers support widely used protocols, including NFC-A, NFC-B, NFC-F, and NFC-A/NFC-F card emulation.
