Data Converters

Analog Devices Inc. Data Converters are a portfolio of data converters that are unmatched in ability and deliver performance with value. The converters provide accurate and reliable conversion for a range of applications. Typical applications include industrial automation, programmable logic controllers, optical transceivers, data acquisition, and more.

AD3551R Digital-to-Analogue Converters (DACs)

Analog Devices Inc. AD3551R Digital-to-Analogue Converters (DACs) are low drift, 16-bit accuracy, current output DACs that can be configured in multiple voltage span ranges. These DACs incorporate three drift compensating feedback resistors for the required external trans-impedance amplifier (TIA) that scales the output voltage. The offset/gain scaling registers generate multiple output ranges like 0V to 2.5V, 0V to 5V, 0V to 10V, -5V to 5V, -10V to 10V, and custom intermediate ranges with 16-bit resolution. The AD3551R DACs feature a 33 MUPS rate in fast mode, 22 MUPS rate in precision mode, and 65ns small signal settling time to 0.1% accuracy. These DACs operate at 2.5V fixed reference, 5ns low latency, 10ppm/°C maximum temperature coefficient, and an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. Typical applications include instrumentation, process control equipment, medical devices, automated test equipment, data acquisition systems, optical communications, and programmable voltage sources.

Digital to Analog Converters (DACs)

Analog Devices Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) range from 8 bits to 24 bits and from a single channel to as many as 40 channels. Analog Devices DACs are offered in high-density packages with flexible I/O, high DC precision, and low glitch. Analog Devices DACs work well in a wide variety of open-loop or closed-loop systems, adjusting gain, offset, and many other signals, as well as fast-settling DACs suitable for AC applications such as waveform generation. Analog Devices' portfolio includes integrated output amplifier options for ease of use, dynamic range DACs for multicarrier generation over a very wide bandwidth, and various other digital-to-analog converters to suit any design needs.
