Cornell Dubilier / Knowles MC Mica Capacitors
Cornell Dubilier (CDE) MC Mica Capacitors are high-frequency, high-power, high-voltage chips with a surface-mount design in 0805, 1210, 1812, and 2220 case sizes. These capacitors provide rugged flexibility and compatibility with FR4 boards, making them ideal for use where other multilayer caps are not recommended because of cracking. The natural mica dielectric maintains its high-Q to many megahertz, so higher frequency applications are limited by the circuit inductance, not the capacitor itself. CDE MC Mica Capacitors are wave solderable, exceed a 2mm bend test, and operate in a -55°C to +125°C temperature range. The series offers a rated voltage range of 100VDC, 500VDC, and 1000VDC with a capacitance range of 0.5pF to 2200pF and ±0.1pF to ±5% capacitance tolerance. Applications include MRI coils and generators, RF instruments, power amplifiers, lasers, and more.Features
