Diodes Incorporated AL5887Q 36-Channel I2C/SPI LED Drivers feature 36 programmable LED current channels, each with a 12-bit PWM for precise color and brightness control via an I2C or SPI interface. The Diodes Incorporated AL5887Q drivers support up to 12 RGB LED modules, divided into three programmable banks (A, B, C), allowing for software-driven color control. An external resistor adjusts the global output current for all channels, with each channel configurable up to 70mA, limited by the package’s thermal capacity. Key features include selectable I2C/SPI control via the INT_SEL pin, 30kHz 12-bit PWM for each channel, independent color and brightness control registers, ultra-low shutdown current, and easy programming. The device operates from -40°C to +125°C and comes in a W-QFN6060-52/SWP (Type A1) package.
