3M Twin Axial PCIe Extender Assemblies for PCIe^® 4.0 applications are a family of cable assemblies, including X8 and X16 connectors utilizing 3M Low Loss Twin Axial Cable 85Ω, 31AWG for PCIe^® applications. With an extremely tight bend radius and thin ribbon construction, these next-generation twin-axial cable assemblies enable easy routing in dense server and rack configurations. They are designed for scalability and tight bends without compromising signal integrity performance. 3M Twin Axial PCIe Extender Assemblies can relocate a PCIe card slot, or bridge between slots on two PCBs, and are compatible with Card Electromechanical (CEM) connectors. By replacing rigid PCB assemblies, the 3M PCI Express Extender Assemblies can be folded or simply routed to the peripheral card, providing a low-loss extension from the motherboard to the peripheral device.
