Diodes Incorporated PI4IOE5V6416RQ I/O Expander
Diodes Incorporated PI4IOE5V6416RQ I/O Expander is a 16-bit general-purpose I/O expander that provides remote I/O expansion for most microcontroller families via the I2C-bus interface. This I/O expander offers a simple solution when additional I/Os are needed while keeping interconnections to a minimum. The PI4IOE5V6416RQ I/O expander features bidirectional voltage-level translation that is provided through VDD(I2C_bus), while the VDD(I2C_bus) should be connected to the VDD of the external SCL/SDA lines. This I/O expander has an open-drain interrupt INT output pin that goes LOW when the input state of a GPIO-port changes from the input-state default register value. The PI4IOE5V6416RQ I/O expander also has an interrupt masking feature by which the user can mask the interrupt from an individual GPIO port. This I/O expander supports AEC-Q100 (Grade 2) and is totally Lead-free and RoHS compliant. The I/O expander is ideal for use in sensors, push buttons, keypads, and battery-powered mobile applications for interfacing.Features
