Littelfuse AK8-FB Axial Leaded TVS Diodes

Littelfuse AK8-FB Axial Leaded TVS Diodes are designed to meet the severe surge-test environment for both AC and DC line-protection applications. These diodes offer an 8kA current rating and are capable of both reflow and wave soldering. The AK8-FB TVS diodes feature a very fast response and ultra-low clamping characteristics as compared to Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs). These diodes provide a clamping voltage lower than the avalanche voltage (but above the rated working voltage). The AK8-FB TVS diodes maintain any voltage rise due to increased current conduction at a minimum magnitude, providing the best possible protection level. These diodes are halogen-free and RoHS compliant.
