Microchip Technology EV23P28A Evaluation Board

Microchip Technology EV23P28A Evaluation Board is designed to simplify the evaluation and testing of the MCP16701 IC capabilities. This evaluation board features circuitry that enables load transient testing with fast current rise time and fast and controlled fall time. If multiple channels are tested under the load, the EV23P28A board requires a power supply at VSYST with at least 7A current capability. This evaluation board can be powered directly from the USB connector by connecting jumper J5. The EV23P28A board includes an onboard load transient generator circuit. This circuit can be used with an external signal generator to evaluate the load step response of bucks 1 to 4 and the LDO controller. Typical applications include DSP power and MPU power supply solutions.
