Mikroe MIKROE-3311 RMS-to-DC Click

Mikroe MIKROE-3311 RMS-to-DC Click converts the RMS input signal into a DC voltage. This DC voltage can be directly read over the I2C interface. The Mikroe RMS-to-DC click board is based on LTC1968 IC by Linear Technology. The LTC1968 IC is an RMS-to-DC converter IC that outputs analog voltage depending on the RMS value of the input signal. This IC utilizes a δ-Σ computational technique that delivers very good linearity, high accuracy, high signal bandwidth, and good thermal stability.

The MIKROE-3311 RMS-to-DC click allows direct application without any compensation elements and offers rail-to-rail common mode voltage and true RMS-to-DC conversion. This click board is available in 42.9mm x 25.4mm click board size and operates at 3.3V or 5V input voltage. Typical applications include the development of true RMS digital multimeters, panel meters, gauges, AC + DC measurements, and audio signal measurements.
