Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EV5087-G-00B Load Switch Evaluation Board demonstrates the MP5087, a low RDSON load switch with current monitoring. The EV5087-G-00B evaluation board delivers a continuous 7A load current over a 0.8V to 5.5V operating input range.

The MP5087 load switches provide 7A load protection covering a 0.5V to 5.5V voltage range. The MP5087 components feature a very accurate
current monitoring function, power good, output discharge function, and fast short-circuit response times. A soft start function avoids inrush current during circuit start-up. With low RDSON in a tiny package, the MP5087 provides a high-efficiency, space-saving solution for notebooks, tablets, and other portable applications.
