Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ2189 AEC-Q100 Synchronous Step-Down Converters are highly integrated, high-frequency switching voltage regulators with an I2C interface. MPQ2189 supports up to 4A load current across a 2.7V to 6V input voltage (VIN) supply range with high load/line regulation. Constant-frequency hysteretic mode provides a fast transient response without loop compensation to achieve high efficiency under light-load conditions.The compact QFN-14 (2.5mm x 3mm) packaged MPQ2189 offers a controllable output voltage (VOUT) through a 3.4Mbps I2C serial interface. The output voltage (VOUT) range can be adjusted from 0.6V to 1.235V in 5mV steps. The I2C interface configures the VOUT slew rate, switching frequency (fSW), and power-save mode. MPS MPQ2189 Step-Down Converters provide protection features, including internal soft start, over-current protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown.
