STMicroelectronics SPC5 Automotive Powertrain Microcontrollers are 32-bit Flash MCUs dedicated to the specific needs of mid-range engine control and automotive transmission control applications. These microcontrollers are modular, with a high-performance core and tailor-made peripherals. STMicroelectronics SPC5 Automotive Powertrain Microcontrollers can be used for 2/4-cylinder Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI)/Multi point injectors (MPI), common-rail diesel engines, low-end 6 cylinder engines, and robotized and hydraulic transmissions.

- Boot Assist Module (BAM)
- Up to 192kB on-chip static RAM (including up to 32KB standby RAM)
- 32-channel second-generation enhanced time processor unit (eTPU) with 32 standard eTPU channels (JTAG) support
- Designed for LQFP100, LQFP144, LQFP176, LBGA208, PBGA324, and Known Good Die (KGD)
