TE Connectivity's (TE) Standard Die Envelope (SDE) Crimp Commercial Tooling Platform features a rounded upper jaw design that is engineered for increased strength and even distribution of force. This SDE crimp system combines the innovative features in the original PRO-CRIMPER hand tools with the versatility of an even more robust design. TE SDE Crimp Commercial Tooling Platform minimizes the need for multiple hand tools by using SDE die sets, which are easily interchangeable from manual to power-assisted tools. An enhanced tool frame provides greater operator comfort, efficiency, and crimping quality.
TE SDE crimp tooling platform is offered as a fully assembled tool or with the frame and die set sold separately. The SDE system is ideal for harness manufacturing and repairs as well as loose-piece terminal crimping for production in a range of markets, including industrial, appliances, automotive, industrial and commercial transportation (ICT), and energy.
