Vishay / BC Components AY1 Automotive-Grade AC Safety Capacitors

Vishay / BC Components AY1 Automotive-Grade AC Capacitors are ceramic disc modules with Class X1 and Class Y1 versions. The Class X1 capacitors are designed for 760V_AC rated voltage, while the Class Y1 devices are designed for 500V_AC rated voltage. Vishay / BC Components AY1 Automotive Grade AC Capacitors withstand the 85/85/1000h test and provide 1000 temperature cycles. The AY1 safety capacitors are AEC-Q200 qualified and feature high reliability and a single-layer AC disk. Typical applications include AC line filters and primary-secondary coupling on battery chargers as well as filter capacitors on DC/DC converters for electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid EVs (HEVs), and plug-in hybrid EVs (PHEVs).

The product lineup includes the AY1-KIT-GA sample kit of AY1 capacitors that contains a total of eight capacitance values with 10 pieces each. This kit offers a 20% tolerance.
