TDK MPZ Multilayer Chip Beads
TDK MPZ Chip Beads support compact devices that need smaller spaces. These chip beads for power lines are offered in many sizes in their capacity as EMC countermeasure components. The modules can cope with a high current due to the low DC resistance, and the series features no cross-talk due to the closed magnetic circuit structural design. These chip beads are RoHS compliant. The TDK MPZ Chip beads can be used to remove power line noise in cell phones, PCs, TV tuners, and game machines.
The MPZ1608-PH large-current multilayer chip beads are designed for automotive and commercial power lines (1.6mm x 0.8mm x 0.6mm). These 1608-size chip beads for power supply lines achieve an 8A rated current. The MPZ1608-PH beads are half the component footprint compared to a circuit using two conventional 1608-sized chip beads. These chip beads operate at 125°C maximum temperature. Typical applications include robots, smartphones, grids, PCs, servers, base stations, and vehicle body control applications.
