Texas Instruments TAS5612A Class D Amplifiers

Texas Instruments TAS5612A Class D Amplifiers are high-performance, digital-input devices with integrated closed-loop feedback technology (PurePath™ HD). These devices have the ability to drive up to 125W stereo into 4Ω to 8Ω speakers from a single 32.5V supply. TI TAS5612A Class D amplifiers enable traditional AB-amplifier performance (<0.03% THD) levels while providing the power efficiency of traditional Class D amplifiers. The distortion curve of these TI Class D amplifiers only increases once the output levels move into clipping. PurePath HD technology enables lower idle losses, increasing the device's efficiency. TI TAS5612A devices are designed for use in a variety of applications, including home theater systems, AV receivers, DVD/Blu-ray™ Disc receivers, mini combo systems, and active speakers and subwoofers.
