KYOCERA AVX provides a large portfolio of capacitor solutions designed around density, size, and reliability requirements. Common capacitor types include aluminum electrolytic, tantalum electrolytic, ceramic, and film. KYOCERA AVX ceramic capacitors are commonly used in DC-DC converters, which can be found in nearly every subsystem of electric vehicles (EVs). 

SkyCap® SR Radial Leaded Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX SR SkyCap® Radial Leaded Capacitors are conformally coated MLCs that offer C0G (NPO), X7R, and Z5U temperature coefficients. These modules feature several voltage options, including 50V, 100V, and 200V, with 300V, 400V, and 500V also available. KYOCERA AVX SR SkyCap Radial Leaded Capacitors are constructed with an epoxy case and RoHS-compliant, 100% tin-lead material. These industrial MLCs are suitable for wave soldering and are compatible with high-speed pick-and-place systems.
