DSL05 Surge Suppressor

STMicroelectronics DSL05 Surge Suppressor is designed to protect DSL line drivers against surges defined in worldwide telecommunication standards. This DSL05 surge suppressor protects line drivers of various systems including xDSL and G.FAST. The DSL05 surge suppressor features high surge capability, low leakage current, low capacitance, and peak power capability at high temperature. This DSL05 surge suppressor can survive severe conditions even when used with downgraded or oscillating gas tube.

DSL05 Surge Suppressors

STMicroelectronics DSL05 Surge Suppressors protect line drivers of the various systems including xDSL and G.FAST. These suppressors offer high surge capability to comply with GR-1089 and ITU-T K20/21/45 and maintain peak power capability at high-temperature. The low capacitance feature of these suppressors makes them suitable from ADSL to G.FAST data rates. The DSL05 is designed to operate in severe conditions including when used with a downgraded or oscillating gas tube. These suppressors are available in 12V and 24V variants and offer 50nA low leakage current at 25°C. The DSL05 suppressors are RoHS compliant and are available in an SOT23-6L package.
