ISM 8 Click

Mikroe ISM 8 Click is a compact add-on board developed to allow reliable short-range wireless communication in embedded systems. The board is based on the Würth Elektronik Telesto-III radio module. Operating in the 902.5MHz to 927.5MHz ISM band (centered at 915MHz), the module supports a data rate of up to 400kbit/s, with a typical receiver sensitivity of -74dBm and transmission output power of -8dBm. The device communicates with the host MCU through UART and features integrated support for flow control, reset, boot, and mode selection. With a 40-meter line-of-sight range and a built-in antenna, it ensures dependable RF connectivity without requiring a complex setup. The Mikroe ISM 8 Click is ideal for industrial automation, smart sensor networks, and remote monitoring applications that require low-power, point-to-point or multinode wireless communication.
