Molex MultiCat High-Power Connector System
Molex MultiCat Power Connector System with precision machined contacts quickly mate and ensure superior durability and proper connection via connector position assurance (CPA). This CPA makes the MultiCat System effective in multiple industries. The MultiCat Power Connector System features lightweight and compact wire-to-wire and wire-to-board configurations while accommodating 18AWG to 8AWG wires.Three-circuit circular components provide a compact connector that fits in an area as small as a ø15.3mm diameter tube. A two-piece hermaphroditic backshell secures the cable and provides strain relief. Two keying options are available with polarization incorporated into the latch, removing the need for separate polarizing tabs. The MultiCat Power Connector System's machined contacts offer a long life of at least 500 mating cycles with a 16.0A to 40.0A current per contact. These solid mass contacts are resistant to damage in blind-mate applications and support high power.
